I have served as Chairperson of the Town Zoning Board of Appeals. In that role I have presided over public hearings, applied the statutory standards for area variances, and issued written decisions based on the record rather than personal preference. That work required the same core qualities a Town Justice needs: impartiality, patience with people who are often unrepresented, careful attention to procedure, and the discipline to follow the law as it is written. What I bring is a demonstrated record of applying statutory criteria fairly, treating every party with respect, and keeping a clear public record. I will decide each case on the facts and the law, without regard to politics or who the parties are.

My priorities for the next four years are the proper administration of the Town Court, not predetermined outcomes in any category of case. Each matter will be decided on the facts and the applicable statute. Everyone who appears — resident or visitor, represented or unrepresented — will be treated with the same respect and the same legal standard. Our Court dockets, fines, and fees shall be recorded and remitted as required by law. I will work professionally with the Town Board, police, and court staff while keeping judicial decisions independent of politics or town revenue considerations.
