Affordable housing: Everyone from retiring seniors, to folks like myself looking for a home to settle down in are getting drowned out by the cost of housing. We need to be responsible, build more housing, and make it easier for people to afford to live, work, and raise a family here.

Energy Costs: Maine is wide and rural, and providing infrastructure to the whole state is a huge task. That being said, we need to do more to protect ratepayers, and we need to pursue resilient sources of energy like solar, which is quickly becoming the among the most affordable and reliable ways to get power.
I'd like to further the state's role in funding our schools, and to make sure that funding is coming from more equitable sources which take into account people's actual ability to pay. Progress is being made, but our kids' educations still shouldn't be so tied to real estate values, and homeowners shouldn't be placed in the oppositional place of fighting over whether to approve the school budget every year.
I want to fight for a Maine which represents all the amazing people who make up our communities. Between now and election day, and especially if I win, I look forward to hearing from the people of Windham about their needs, their hopes for the state, and how the government can actually be a tool to make our lives better.
