The cost of living and the increasing cost and reduced availability of Healthcare.
The State has regulatory power over utilities and Healthcare. I would work to use our sovereignty to reduce the cost of utilities and make sure private health insurance profits are benefitting Mainers instead of their administrators and shareholders. I want to hear from my neighbors in District 19 and address their unique challenges. I promise to be an advocate for their concerns in Augusta.
I began my career in Commodities and Securities regulation. After 20 years I returned to school and became a Family Nurse Practitioner focused on Primary Care in underserved populations. I live in Orrington with my husband, 4 children, our dog and our cat. I enjoy gardening, baking, travel, and snowboarding.
