Gordon Lieffers Dorr resident since 1996- Education: BA- MSU - Work History: Teacher combined 3rd/4th grades – St. Stan's - 20 yrs - Keeler Brass – 17 yrs Qualifications & Experience: - Currently VP- Dorr Library, Formerly President Dorr Library 10yrs, Planning Comm 15yrs, US Army Reserve(Veteran) 6yrs, Robotics Coach/Mentor St. Stan's Lego League 13yrs
My goals are to represent the citizens of Dorr Township. I intend to fully support the Fire, Police and Medical Services. The Library is very important to me as well as maintaining and improving our beautiful parks. It is also important to try to maintain the rural character of Dorr.
The most critical issue is the Data Center. Land use impacts everyone in Dorr Township. It is important to do so in a way that respects the people's concerns and will be legally upheld. It is also important for the township to maintain the utmost transparency with the public.
