Government efficiency/modernize regulations
Reduce unnecessary regulations adding cost within healthcare (mandates, burdensome processes, etc).
Reducing any unnecessary steps in the building process - efficient permitting and straightforward inspections.
I believe that parents should have choice in how to educate their children and that all public funds come from those taxpayers. I support some level of Educational Savings Accounts - to benefit students in rural and urban settings.
I believe that we have some of the best voting processes in the US. I meet with other legislators that work on election laws from across the US and that envy our systems and processes.
I believe that the federal government has been encroaching more and more into states’ rights over time. Some examples include environmental regulations and energy development.
