Affordable and Accessible Health Care
Lowering costs for families in North Dakota
Supporting Public Education
Robust Farm Economy with focus on safeguarding family farms
We should follow examples of other countries such as our neighbors to the north to ensure that everyone has access to affordable health care. We need to expand and improve our nursing home care facilities and work to reduce or eliminate costs. People should not have to go bankrupt in caring for our elderly and family members. Develop programs further to provide free hearing, dental and vision programs for ND citizens who do not currently have coverage including our seniors.
I would work with local entities across the state to refurbish existing housing that is currently not inhabited, review zoning laws, and work with our Vo-Tech facilities on programs to build housing units to expand available units.
Limit number of units owned by corporations that drive up rental costs and limit number of units available to the market.
I support strong public schools. Voucher programs funnel money away from Public Schools.
We need to expand early voting, vote by mail and allow ballots that are postmarked by the end of election day to be counted. We need to all work together to pass the John Lewis Voting Rights Act. We should stress to all citizens of North Dakota that is is a responsibility to vote. We should create systems that walk young people through the voting process so they feel comfortable in exercising their voting rights. We should create systems that allow working families time to leave work to vote
We need to ensure that Due Process is provided to all peoples in the United States of America. Our current immigration efforts in the state are unlawful and violate constitutional rights.
Data center implementation plans need to be transparent and not shift operating costs to the state and local residents.
Public lands are national treasurers for out citizens and not something to be pilfered by private or foreign entities.
