City of Hurst Proposition H
Shall Section 3.06 be added to the Hurst Home Rule Charter as follows (City Council Vacancy) If a vacancy occurs in an office of Councilmember, the City Council may appoint a person to the vacant office by a majority vote of all remaining Councilmembers. A person appointed to a vacated office under this subsection may serve until the next regular municipal election, at which point the vacated office will be filled by election of the voters. A person appointed by this subsection shall meet all requirements and qualifications of the Charter as stated in this article.----------Deberá añadirse la Sección 3.06 a la Carta Orgánica de la Ciudad de Hurst de la siguiente manera (Vacante en el Concejo Municipal). Si ocurre una vacante en un cargo de Concejal, el Concejo Municipal podrá nombrar a una persona para el cargo vacante mediante el voto mayoritario de todos los Concejales restantes. La persona nombrada para un cargo vacante conforme a este inciso podrá servir hasta la siguiente elección municipal regular, momento en el cual el cargo vacante será cubierto mediante la elección de los votantes. La persona nombrada conforme a este inciso deberá cumplir todos los requisitos y calificaciones de la Carta Orgánica según se establece en este artículo.----------Có nên bổ sung Mục 3.06 vào Hiến chương Tự quản Thành phố Hurst với nội dung như sau hay không (Khuyết vị trí trong Hội đồng Thành phố): Trường hợp khuyết vị trí Ủy viên Hội đồng Thành phố, Hội đồng Thành phố có thể bổ nhiệm một người vào vị trí khuyết đó trên cơ sở đa số phiếu của tất cả các Ủy viên Hội đồng còn lại. Người được bổ nhiệm vào vị trí khuyết theo quy định tại khoản này có thể đảm nhiệm chức vụ cho đến kỳ bầu cử thành phố thường kỳ tiếp theo, khi đó vị trí khuyết sẽ được cử tri bầu chọn. Người được bổ nhiệm theo quy định tại khoản này phải đáp ứng đầy đủ các yêu cầu và tiêu chuẩn của Hiến chương như được quy định trong điều này.
