I believe the best qualities I bring to the position of County Commissioner District 7 are my love for people, the ability to listen, and to ask good questions. Professionally, as a Licensed Professional Counselor, with ten years of experience, I understand the challenges of evaluating and making decisions that affect your family, clients, and community.

Personally, I am a curious individual who centers people and values doing the next right thing. Throughout my life I have served in leadership positions, organized service projects, and volunteered on nonprofit boards. I moved to Washington County 23 years ago from a small farm town in Ohio for college and fell in love with the region. Now I am committed to live and serve the community.

Some of the most pressing issues facing Washington County are hope, housing, and healthcare. I want all residents to feel hopeful about their future through safe and secure job opportunities. Through creative work with experts, I will work to attract sustainable growth that is evaluated on schools, infrastructure, and green space. I plan to advocate for affordable, accessible housing so families can put down roots and thrive. I will collaborate to expand access to quality healthcare services for all residents, especially in underserved areas. I am committed to prioritizing natural resource protection and preservation that enhances and promotes what our region has to offer and creates a wholesome place to live, work, and play.
