Candidate- What District 5 School Board Seat
My top priority is to address needs and concerns of students and educators. Educators need all resources to better educate the students and the students need resources to really help them to learn. The struggle is real in today's society. More and more things are being added to the workload of Educators wirh not enough time to teach everything.
Support
I will address the needs and concerns that the community bring to me and the board, I will check things out through its entirety and address it with the board and CMCSS. I will not let anything lay by the wayside without checking into it. I will be that liaison between the community and CMCSS.
I have worked in CMCSS for 20 years (retiring in May). I started out in the kitchen and retired as an Educational Support Assistant. I have been advocating for education over 15 years. I served on the Tennessee Education Association Board of Directors (6 tears), the National Education Association Board of Directors (3 years) and the Clarksville Montgomery County Education Association Executive Board, (3 years).
