Shall Article 3, Section 3.07 (b) Council Vacancies of the Home Rule Charter be amended to clarify that in the event of a resignation of the mayor or council member that the resigning member of the city council may not vote on the appointment of that person’s replacement to fill the unexpired term of office?This amendment would prohibit a resigning mayor or council member from voting on the appointment of their own replacement to fill the remainder of their unexpired term.
