I’ve practiced law in the areas of corporate law business law, family law, probate law, insurance, defense, law, criminal, law, constitutional litigation, and entertainment law, where represented Boyz II Men in a record contract and the producer of Hot in Cleveland. This range of experience makes me ideally situated for the Court of Appeals.
I’m running for this specific seat because I’ve been asked by many of my Christian conservative friends to fill the seat of the Hon Matt Lynch, who has aged out. I have seen decisions from the 11th District Court of Appeals, where the judges act more like legislators and make decisions that do not reflect what I believe to be the correct constitutionally conservative review of the law.
I believe one of the greatest challenges the Court faces today is how AI has already affected the practice of law and the requirements of a judge. I have started two successful technology companies in my career and am proficient with matters of large language, modeling. The entire scope of what we do as judges and lawyers is going to change in the next three years in a dramatic basis, It is important to have someone who understands the issues
I pointed to the above answer about the use of AI to address one of the most glaring issues I see in my role as a Judge: the uneven or poor representation that many clients receive or never receive because in the 11th District, there is a lack of lawyers who can handle the various claims of the citizens .
