Volunteer/Community Service Citizen led ballot initiatives, local food drives, and litter clean up
I believe every US citizen over the age of 18 should be automatically registered to vote. Additionally, Election Day should be a holiday so that every eligible voter can participate in their civic duty and research the candidates with ample time to think about what and who they are casting their ballot to support.
The tax code in Ohio should be brought in line with the principles in the Ohio Constitution, in a way that does not place an undue burden on Ohio taxpayers or businesses.
As a member of the Ohio legislature, I would work to ensure that basic services like education and healthcare are accessible to Ohio residents and that corporations are not artificially increasing prices.
The future of the state is dependent on a world-class education for all Ohio students. I would focus on the use of technology in the classroom as well as increasing literacy rates.
I am committed to listening to policy positions from as many perspectives as I can. I would work to identify policies where compromise and collaboration can happen in order to get things done for Ohio. At the same time, I will stick to my principles and be open and transparent with my constituents, were I to be elected.
