I believe Ohio’s elections should be secure, transparent, and accessible. That means maintaining strong safeguards that protect the integrity of every ballot while also ensuring that eligible voters can participate without unnecessary barriers. I support clear, uniform rules across counties, modernized election systems, and improved training and resources for poll workers. I also believe in making the process more efficient—such as reducing long wait times, improving early voting logistics, and ensuring military and overseas voters have reliable access. The goal is simple: every eligible Ohioan should have confidence that their vote counts and that the system is fair.
A clear, resident‑focused way forward:

Ohio families deserve a tax system that is simple, predictable, and aligned with the real cost of living. I support reforms that reduce the burden on working families and seniors—especially property‑tax relief for homeowners whose assessments have risen faster than their wages. I also believe Ohio should pursue a tax structure that rewards work, encourages small‑business growth, and keeps more money in the pockets of the people who earn it. Any tax reform should be transparent, fiscally responsible, and designed to strengthen local services like schools, EMS, police, and fire without placing disproportionate pressure on homeowners.
A strong, practical response:

The cost of living is squeezing families across Ohio, and addressing it requires a comprehensive approach. I support policies that expand affordable housing options, reduce property‑tax pressure, and increase access to childcare and healthcare. Strengthening workforce development—especially for high‑demand fields like healthcare, public safety, trades, and technology—helps raise wages and create upward mobility. I also believe in improving transportation infrastructure and supporting small businesses, which keeps local economies strong and reduces everyday costs for families. The goal is to make Ohio a place where people can build a stable life, raise a family, and retire with dignity.
A balanced, student‑centered position:

My priority is ensuring that every student—regardless of ZIP code—has access to a high‑quality education that prepares them for real‑world success. For K‑12, that means strong support for teachers, safe schools, modern curriculum options, and pathways that include college, trades, and career‑technical education. For higher education, affordability and workforce alignment are key. Students should not be buried in debt to pursue a degree or credential. I support partnerships between schools, employers, and training programs to ensure Ohio’s students are prepared for the jobs of today and tomorrow.
Civility starts with leadership. I believe in listening first, respecting differences, and focusing on solutions instead of scoring political points. I will work with anyone—Republican, Democrat, or Independent—who is committed to improving the lives of Ohio families. That means bringing people to the table, being transparent about decisions, and treating every resident with dignity. Hyperpartisanship fades when leaders model humility, honesty, and a willingness to collaborate. My approach is simple: put people before politics and results before rhetoric.
