How have you been involved in the Prince’s Lakes community?

What do you think is the most serious issue facing Prince’s Lakes today?

How would you prioritize town services and infrastructure projects to meet residents’ needs while staying within the town budget?

What strategies would you use to maintain transparency, encourage public engagement, and communicate effectively with the community?

I’ve been deeply involved in the Prince’s Lakes community as President of the Park Board, where I’ve worked to improve our public spaces and create opportunities for residents to come together. I’ve helped organize local festivals, built relationships with sponsors to support community events, and brought new experiences to town, including organizing the circus, which was a great success. I’m a longtime resident of Prince’s Lakes, a mom, and a dedicated community volunteer who believes deeply in protecting our small-town character while building a strong future for the families who call this place home. I’m running for Town Council because leadership should be rooted in service, results, & an understanding of everyday life in our community.
I believe the most serious issue facing Prince’s Lakes today is managing thoughtful, sustainable growth while protecting the small town character we all value. Maintaining safe and reliable water and sewer systems, protecting our lakes and natural resources, and planning for long-term community needs. At the same time, practical issues like road safety, infrastructure improvements, & public safety require attention. Addressing these challenges requires responsible use of tax dollars, transparency in decision making, & leadership that listens to residents. My goal on the Town Council would be to ensure that as Prince’s Lakes grows, we do so in a way that strengthens our town, preserves what makes our town special, & a sustainable future.
I would prioritize town services and infrastructure projects by focusing first on safety, essential services, and long-term sustainability. That means ensuring our water and sewer systems are reliable, our roads are safe, and public safety services are well supported. From there, I would look at projects that enhance quality of life while carefully balancing the town budget. Staying within budget requires thoughtful planning, transparency, and involving residents in the decision making process so they understand how tax dollars are being used. I believe in prioritizing projects that provide the greatest impact for the community, maintaining our small-town character, and planning for future growth.
Maintaining transparency starts with open, accessible communication. I would ensure that town decisions, budgets, and projects are clearly shared through multiple channels—public meetings, the town website, newsletters, and social media—so residents always know what’s happening.

To encourage public engagement, I would actively seek input through surveys, forums, and community events, making it easy for neighbors to share their ideas and concerns. I also believe in being approachable and responsive, so residents feel their voices are heard and valued.

Effective communication means not only sharing information but listening and following up, so everyone knows how their feedback is shaping decisions that impact our community.

I’ve been actively involved by listening to residents, watching the Town Council meetings, and helping make local information more accessible. Through my work and background in data and GIS, I focus on breaking down complex topics—like town finances and infrastructure—so neighbors can better understand what’s happening in our community. I’m also a mom raising my family here, which gives me a personal stake in keeping Prince’s Lakes a great place to live, grow, and stay connected.
One of the most important issues is balancing growth with maintaining the small-town character residents value, while ensuring infrastructure keeps up. This includes water and sewer systems, roads, and long-term planning. Rising costs and limited transparency can make it difficult for residents to feel informed or confident in decisions. We need thoughtful planning, clear communication, and responsible investment so our town can grow sustainably without losing what makes it special.
I would prioritize essential services first—water, sewer, roads, and public safety—while using data and long-term planning to guide decisions. Projects should be evaluated based on urgency, impact, and cost-effectiveness. I also believe in improving transparency so residents understand where funds are going. Exploring grants and outside funding opportunities can help reduce the burden on taxpayers while still allowing us to invest in needed improvements.
I believe transparency starts with making information easy to access and understand. I would support clear, consistent communication through meeting summaries, social media updates, and simplified breakdowns of town decisions and finances. Encouraging public engagement means creating opportunities for residents to ask questions, share input, and feel heard—both in meetings and online. I also believe in being approachable and responsive. When people understand what’s happening and feel included in the process, it builds trust and leads to stronger, more informed decisions for our community.
