I would work to expand access to voting by taking a real look at the lives of working Americans. That includes fortifying mail in and absentee ballots. Most people work into the evening, some work two jobs. Very few people have passports, most don't have the money to travel to actually need one. Rather than disenfranchising American people, I want to hear all of their voices. I would work to propose legislation that prevents any acts to be taken that would potentially decrease the number of people eligible to vote without clear and irrefutable evidence of compromised election integrity.
We can immediately remove the illegal tariffs that are contributing to the cost of living by enforcing Congressional authority on taxation. We need to investigate the corruption and monopolies in our most in demand industries including health care, grocery retail and housing. I have speaking for years about banning the ability for corporations to buy single family homes. While we are breaking up monopolies and resetting the market to a healthy and competitive market place, we can provide a public option or provide subsidies to those in demand services.
I believe that the best way to reduce hyperpartisanship is to be a Candidate who is willing to reach across the aisle and work with members of Congress regardless of political party to get the best work done for the people. Then as that work gets done, message on it constantly so that people know great thinks are coming from compromise. Only the people can reject candidates from the extremes, we have to show them that that is the formula that works.
America should continue to work to have allies internationally that will help to promote and sustain peace. American should not engage in any foreign war or special military operation abroad unless there is evidence that such an operation is required to secure America's security.
We have irresponsible immigration policy. We do not have a federal immigration limit for legal immigration that is set, and enforced in a transparent manor. We should know how many, then we can properly staff our departments to properly and efficiently process applications for legal immigration. We should also provide a clear path to citizenship and provide first access to citizenship to those who have lived, worked, paid taxes and peacefully contributed to our society the longest, without them having to go back to their home country and apply in order for it to happen. They have lives and families here now.
