I have lived in Bargersville and the Center Grove area for most of my life and graduated from Center Grove High School. I have served in public safety for over 30 years as a firefighter and have spent more than a decade working in municipal utilities and local government. My career has focused on improving infrastructure, supporting responsible growth, and delivering reliable services to residents and businesses. I remain active in community initiatives and regional partnerships that support public safety, economic development, and long term planning for our town.
My approach is to prioritize essential services such as public safety, utilities, and infrastructure maintenance while planning strategically for future growth. This includes using long term capital planning, data driven decision making, and responsible financial management. Projects should be evaluated based on safety, service reliability, economic impact, and lifecycle cost. I support leveraging grants, partnerships, and careful budgeting to ensure investments are sustainable and do not place unnecessary burden on taxpayers while still maintaining high service levels.
Transparency and communication begin with accessible information and consistent outreach. I support clear reporting on town finances, projects, and decisions through public meetings, digital platforms, and community engagement opportunities. Listening to residents, businesses, and stakeholders is essential to good governance. I would encourage proactive communication, timely updates on major initiatives, and opportunities for meaningful public input so residents feel informed and confident in how decisions are made.
Growth should be guided by thoughtful planning that respects Bargersville’s small town character while supporting economic opportunity. This means coordinating land use, infrastructure capacity, and community expectations. Responsible development should enhance quality of life, support local businesses, and protect residential neighborhoods. I believe in managing growth in a way that strengthens public services, maintains fiscal responsibility, and preserves the sense of community that makes Bargersville a desirable place to live and work.
