I bring over 20 years of experience as a dental hygienist treating a diverse population. I have strong skills in organization, communication, problem-solving, and compassionate care. My education at Indiana University School of Dentistry gave me a solid foundation in science, ethics, and public health.
Living in WRT for the last 16 years, I've seen the challenges families face: unaffordable childcare, food insecurity, and financial hardship. I am invested in the well-being of our community.
I am prepared to bring a practical, people-focused approach to the Trustee’s office working to ensure that assistance is accessible, resources are managed wisely, and every resident is treated with dignity and respect.
I will make sure township assistance is fair, consistent, and based on real need by following clear guidelines and applying them the same way for everyone. I’ll keep the process simple and transparent so residents understand how to get help without unnecessary barriers.
I also believe in strong accountability—tracking how funds are used and making sure every dollar is spent responsibly. Just as important, I’ll take the time to listen and connect people with the resources they need.
Maintaining strong, reliable township services is one of the most important responsibilities of the Trustee’s office.
For fire protection and emergency services, I will ensure they have the resources, training, and support they need to respond quickly and effectively by prioritizing responsible funding, open communication, and forward planning to meet the needs of our growing community.
Our cemeteries will be respectfully maintained, clean, and accessible, with consistent upkeep and attention to detail.
Across all services, I believe in being proactive rather than reactive—anticipating needs, addressing issues early and working collaboratively with community partners to maintain the high standards our residents expect and deserve.
I will manage the township budget with a focus on priorities, transparency, and accountability. That means investing first in essential services like emergency response and assistance for residents in need, while avoiding unnecessary spending. I’ll make financial information clear and accessible, so residents know exactly how their tax dollars are being used. I’ll ensure strong oversight with accurate records and regular reviews because every dollar should be spent responsibly.
I will engage the community by being visible, accessible, and proactive: holding regular office hours, attending community events, and meeting residents where they are. I’ll also use surveys and simple online tools to gather input so every voice has a chance to be heard.
I’ll build strong partnerships with local organizations, schools, and service providers to better understand the needs that may not always be obvious.
I will listen to township residents, act in their best interest, and make sure the allocation of resources reflect the real needs of our community.
My vision for the future of the township is simple—take care of our residents and always be prepared for what lies ahead.
I want to make sure our services stay strong as our community grows and we have easily accessible assistance. No one should fall through the cracks, especially when it comes to things like food insecurity or difficulty making ends meet due to inflation.
I believe in planning ahead, spending responsibly, and making sure residents always know what’s going on and feel heard.
Ultimately I want this to be a township where people feel connected and supported.
