Former Laporte City Councilperson, years in and around the community in public service. Proven track record of finding common ground thru common sense!
Controlled growth is key! Currently, I’m leading the fight for the county data center ordinance. Keeping friends and neighbors up to date on the meetings to attend to leverage government that seems to go against it's residents blinded by money.

I believe that we must control the growth of the data centers to keep our cost of living low as we already see rising utility costs, and quality of life as we know little about what these builds will do to water and the environment.

I have been a champion for the county and schools fighting for funding from Dermody who plans to place a TIF District on the 4 Billion in investment and fencing off any financial benefits from schools, libraries and the county. This means in light of economic growth the county will still need a tax increase.
Transparency and accountability! We need to find common ground through common sense!
I'm a fiscally conservative Blue Dog Democrat. My focus will always be on living within our means. To that end, I believe LaPorte County needs a Capital Expenditure budget to track and plan for future major expenses and take-home cars.

Most office seekers talk about transparency and accountability, but I mean it. Take the recent Microsoft campus annexation, which places LaPorte City officials under a Non-Disclosure Agreement. This is unacceptable to me, my friends, and my neighbors. As a member of the community, you deserve to know what is happening, and I will do my part to ensure transparency!

I defend of County farmland by pursuing a Data Center ordinance that provides stronger protections than just a 5-member Board of Zoning, where only 3 votes can create an industrial park

I’ve been a resident of LaPorte County for over 20 years and currently have the pleasure of serving on Westville’s Town Council. I have a Bachelor’s from Purdue North Cental ( West now) in Business Marketing. I love living in LaPorte County and am very passionate about supporting local business and seeing our communities grow and leave a positive impact on our youth. Furthering my political career is not just about me, it’s setting an example that “yes, you can!”
This is a very big learning curve for me. I’m very transparent that I don’t have a concrete plan but it doesn’t mean that Laporte County has a lot of work to do and I’m not scared of hard work.
Synergy is key. I don’t have the answers but it starts with listening. When we start listening to each other we will all win.
Always.
