State Treasurer

Nevada State Treasurer (4 yr terms, no term limits) The State Treasurer is responsible for managing Nevada’s public funds and overseeing the state’s financial operations. This office safeguards taxpayer dollars, invests state funds, manages bond programs, and administers programs such as college savings plans and certain unclaimed property services. The Treasurer plays a key role in ensuring fiscal stability, responsible investment practices, and long-term financial planning for the state. Because sound financial management directly affects funding for education, infrastructure, and essential public services, this race is important in promoting transparency, accountability, and prudent stewardship of Nevada’s resources.
