Licking County Common Pleas Judge - Probate/Juvenile
A Common Pleas Judge in the Probate/Juvenile Division is an elected judicial officer who presides over matters involving estates, guardianships, adoptions, and certain issues concerning minors. In Probate Court, the judge oversees the administration of estates, wills, trusts, and guardianships. In Juvenile Court, the judge hears cases involving delinquency, child abuse and neglect, custody matters, and juvenile traffic offenses. I have been a practicing law in Licking County for more than 12 years. I have represented clients in juvenile, misdemeanor, and felony courts, handling serious cases, including high-level felonies and juvenile bindovers. I have also served as a guardian ad litem, working with the Licking County Department of Job and Family Services to support children in crisis and reunify families.
I am a licensed high school government teacher that has significant experience practicing in the Licking County Juvenile/Probate Court. I have devoted most of my career to working with young people and their families.
