Licking County Common Pleas Judge - General Division
A Common Pleas Judge in the General Division is an elected judicial officer who presides over the county’s trial court of general jurisdiction. The judge hears and decides felony criminal cases, civil lawsuits involving larger monetary amounts, and appeals from certain administrative agencies. The judge manages court proceedings, rules on legal motions, conducts trials, and imposes sentences in criminal cases.
