Clark County Commissioner, District G
Commissioners are among the most powerful local officials in Southern Nevada. They manage the county’s multi-billion-dollar budget, pass ordinances, oversee infrastructure such as roads, parks, libraries, and flood control, regulate land use and development, and provide oversight of the county jail system. Their decisions directly impact public safety, housing affordability, economic opportunity, environmental sustainability, and how transparently and responsibly taxpayer dollars are used. In a rapidly growing region like Clark County, these races are critical to ensuring accountable governance, long-term planning, and policies that serve the broad interests of the community.

Save Nevada
Safety, housing affordability, health, and homelessness must be some of our top priorities or disease and ruin will follow if we don't address them head on. Clark County also desperately needs transparency and fiscal accountability. That means auditing county spending, eliminating waste, requiring open and accessible budget reporting, and ending back-room dealing. Taxpayers deserve to know where their money is going and that it is being spent wisely on essential services that improve their quality of life. I believe in being collaborative with colleagues, stakeholders, and voters every step of the way, and I will always maintain an open door policy because good governance starts with listening.
We must eliminate red tape by streamlining the permitting process and partnering with the private sector to bring housing costs down. My focus will be on workforce housing for the people who keep our community running like teachers, law enforcement, firefighters, nurses, first responders, and other essential service workers. I will work to cut regulations that burden builders and developers from delivering the housing supply our county needs, while attracting quality employers that raise wages and make homeownership more attainable for Clark County families.
As a physician and veteran, I know that public safety requires both a strong law enforcement presence and smart community investment. I will work to fully staff and equip our law enforcement and fire departments, including competitive pay and benefits to retain the best people. I will work to address the root causes of crime by getting homeless individuals the care and mental health resources they need, rather than simply cycling them through the system. I will work to support small businesses that anchor neighborhoods and build a true culture of community. I will work to facilitate collaboration with colleagues and stakeholders. The voters of District G will always be at the heart of how I govern as my door will always be open.
