Building a Bright Future for our youth
I have served on the Ross Township Board for the last 10yrs overseeing the township’s budget along with serving as a board member with the Merrillville Fire Department Territory board and overseeing there budget. I also serve on the Tech Federal Credit Union board of directors. For the past 5yrs I have been president of the Northern Indiana Area Labor Federation where I set the budget and represent over 24,000 union members.
We would have to come up with a plan to combat Sea1 without affecting the residents that live here in Lake County and find ways to affectively re invest back into our county .

A lifelong Merrillville resident, this community shaped my values—hard work, service, and standing up for others. I’m a proud father to my son AJ, who inspires me every day.
For over 25 years, I’ve been a union member, committed to fairness and dignity for working families. My public service began in 1998 with the Merrillville Volunteer Fire Department, where I served 20 years in leadership roles. I’ve also worked with Gary Fire Local 359 and now serve at Cleveland-Cliffs USW 6787, advocating for worker safety.
Today, I continue serving through local leadership roles and mentoring youth. For me, it’s always about people—showing up, standing together, and making our community stronger.
