One of the most important issues facing Franklin County is access to affordable housing. I will continue to advocate for affordable housing including championing expanding Ohio’s Homestead Exemption Program which allows low income senior citizens and permanently and totally disabled Ohioans to reduce their property tax bills by shielding some of the market value of their homes from taxation. I will continue to advocate for common sense Property Tax reform. In addition, I have established a robust education campaign to ensure that property owners understand the role they can play in determining the value of their property.
Since taking office in 2011, I have held more than 800 Community Hours meetings as an elected official and as Auditor,I have held over 250 Community Hours in every municipality and township in Franklin county.

I believe the best ideas come directly from residents of our community and have worked hard to implement ideas and suggestions that come from constituents.
The Franklin County Auditor's Office oversees consumer services including dog licensing and weights and measures, serves as the County's Fiscal officer, and assesses property values. I have served in this role since 2019, and feel I have made meaningful improvements to each of these divisions and will continue to work to improve and expand these services to benefit Franklin County Residents.
