Not a Town Meeting Race
Before retiring at the beginning of 2020, I spent my entire legal career working in the field of affordable housing and community development. I primarily represented nonprofit, mission-driven organizations in Massachusetts and across the country that build, own, and operate affordable and mixed-income housing. I have also represented many tenant organizations and public housing authorities.
I served as General Counsel and Senior VP at The Community Builders, Inc., one of the nation’s leading nonprofit affordable housing developers, and co-founded Klein Hornig LLP, a law firm devoted exclusively to affordable housing and community development.
I hold both my bachelor’s degree and my law degree from the University of Michigan.
The BHA is lucky to have two BHA residents among the five Commissioners, and I will look to them for guidance in representing the BHA's residents. Throughout my career, I often represented tenant and resident organization in affordable housing developments, and look forward to meeting more residents of the BHA and working closely with them as a Commissioner.
