1. Working with the City of Crown Point to establish a fire department substation, so we can better serve residents and keep response times strong, while continuing to invest in the equipment our firefighters need.
2. Maintaining a township food pantry funded through community donations, not taxpayer dollars, to support township residents when they need it most.
3. Upholding strong fiscal responsibility to ensure transparency, efficiency, and careful stewardship of taxpayer dollars.
I bring extensive experience in public service and local leadership. I am currently completing my 14th year as Center Township Trustee, where I've worked directly to serve our community's needs. Prior to that, I served 25 years on the Crown Point City Council and 12 years on the Crown Point Plan Commission. I also served as Chairman of the Crown Point Historic Preservation Commission. Over the years, I've built strong relationships, gained valuable insight, and stayed committed to doing what is best for our community.
Even with budget reductions, my focus is on staying efficient and protecting the quality of service our residents expect.
1. I will work closely with state legislators to address the cuts created by Senate Bill 1 and advocate for fair funding.
2. I've always managed our office responsibly, maintaining a surplus and keeping Center Township debt-free and I will continue that same disciplined approach moving forward.
