1. To ensure taxpayers dollars are spent on families who need financial assistance when facing a hardship.
2. Making sure people who apply for Township assistance, be treated with respect and have the right to appeal their case if they are denied.

1. I am a Certified Family Development Specialist. I worked for LCEOC/NWICA for 20 years. I am certified as a trainer for financial literacy, and energy education. I was the liaison person to find agencies to provide sites for the EAP program throughout Lake, Porter, Jasper and Newton counties. I partnered with agencies who provided services throughout these counties.
I asssted families in setting goals and also provided resources to help them accomplish their goals.
I worked for North Township as a casemanager for 9 years. While working at North Township I met clients who needed more than temporary help.
If I am elected, I will be an asset to the board. I have a history of helping and advocating for people.
1. Providing avenues for financial literacy and self sufficiency.
2. Finding resources from other agencies to assist clients.
3. Partnered with other agencies to be able to come to the Township to talk to clients about resources.
