DO A THOROUGH REVEIW OF THE OPERATING BUDGET. REVEIW THE VENDOR LIST FOR VENDORS WHO ACTUALLY PROVIDE SERVICES TO THE CALUMET TOWNSHIP TRUSTEES OFFICE AND THE MULTI PURPOSE CENTER TO ELIMINATE QUESTIONABLE VENDORS WHO RECEIVES MONEY PROVIDE NOSERVICES. THOSE WOULD BE MY PRIMARY FOCUS TO FULFILL THE REQUIREMENTS OF A BOARD MEMBER WHO PUT PEOPLE IN NEED AS THE NUMBER ONE PRIORITY
I HAVE BEEN A RECIPIENT OF THE CALUMET TOWNSHIP SERVICES,THEN AS YEARS PASSED I BECAME AN EMPLOYEE , SO I KNOW THE IMPORTANCE OF PROVIDING SERVICE IN A COMPASSIONATE AND EXPEDIOUSLY MANNER. THEREFORE I HAVE EXPERIENCE FROM BOTH SIDES. AND HAVING THE EXPERIENCE OF NEEDING HELP FOR MY FAMILY. I KNOW THE IMPORTANCE OF BEING WITHOUT AQND THE EMOTIONAL TRAUMA ONE GOES THROUGH TO HAVE TO ASK FOR ASSISTANCE..
DETERMINE ALL UNESSENTIAL EXPENDITURES , SHORE UP THE VENDOR LIST AND RECCOMEND COST CUTTING INITIATIVES TO ACCOMODATTE THE BUDGET CUTS WHILE I SEARCCH FOR ADDITTIONAL FUNDING SOURCES.
I WOULD ADVISE THE TOWNSHIP TRUSTEE TO HAVE MONTHLY RADIO INFORMATIONAL SHOWS STATING THE SERVICES OFFERED AND FIELD QUESTIONS ABOUT ANY ISSUES OS CONCERNS FROM THOSE RECEIVING SERVICES AND EXPLAIN THE PROCEDURES FOR NEW RECIPIENTS.

I have worked in a successful family business, managing the office, filing records correctly, inventory, purchasing, reconciling checks and balances, monitoring payroll and state taxes, purchasing, writing estimates, collaborating with insurance companies managing high school students, and working as a Compliance & Policy Engagement Assistant. Currently, I am a Precinct Committeewoman and volunteer helping seniors in the community.
Listen, assess the problem to determine the necessary resources needed to provide services that meet the needs of families.
Advertise the resource programs the township office offers through media and passing out literature.
