Farmers across CD 22 are concerned in particular about the H-2A program. I am in support of reform for the H-2A program and look forward to working with House Ag Committee Chairman GT Thompson who has introduced a bill - The Securing Agriculture’s Workforce Act, which directly addresses this issue.
While I understand climate change is a concern, as a conservative, I believe we should approach environmental challenges with practical solutions rooted in innovation, free markets, and American energy leadership rather than burdensome regulations that weaken our economy and drive jobs overseas. Climate change is one of many issues that can be handled properly if we take a balanced approach.
1. Restore Fiscal Responsibility and Government Accountability My top priority will be reducing reckless spending, eliminating waste, fraud, and abuse in federal programs, and increasing transparency throughout government. Taxpayers deserve a government that lives within its means, measures results, and is accountable for every dollar spent. 2. I will fight to protect Florida Families from Rising Costs by supporting lower energy prices, insurance reform, economic growth, and reducing federal regulations that drive up the cost of living.
Freedom of speech means every American has the right to express their beliefs, opinions, faith, and political views without government censorship or punishment. It protects both popular and unpopular viewpoints because a free society depends on open debate and the free exchange of ideas.
The President, as head of the Executive Branch, is responsible for managing and directing federal agencies and ensuring that laws are faithfully executed. Congress, however, has the constitutional authority to create agencies, fund them, conduct oversight, hold hearings, and ensure they are operating within the law.

I believe federal agencies should be accountable to both the President and Congress.
I support proof of citizenship for voter registration. Election integrity is very important to me. However, I would support policies that:

Create a streamlined process for individuals, especially women whose names have changed through marriage or divorce, to link their records without unnecessary bureaucratic hurdles. Allow sufficient time before implementation so eligible voters are not disenfranchised while obtaining documentation. Ensure veterans, seniors, people with disabilities, and low-income citizens receive additional assistance if needed.

I believe protecting the integrity of our elections and protecting every eligible citizen's right to vote are not competing priorities.
As a constitutional conservative, I believe education is primarily a responsibility of parents, local communities, and the states, not the federal government. The federal government's role should be limited, focused, and consistent with the Constitution.
