The training and experience which qualifies me to serve as District Clerk for Gillespie County is my over 27 years of knowledge and expertise in various fields of Law Enforcement expanding across Local, State, and Federal levels. After obtaining my Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from UTSA in 1995, my dedication to public service began at Bexar County Community Supervision & Corrections Department, where I was an Adult Probation Officer from 1995-2000. In 2000, I was recruited by the elite United States Secret Service, where I served my country as a Federal Agent for 20 years. After retiring in 2020, my commitment and service to my hometown community began by serving as an Adult Probation Officer and Court Administrator for the Gillespie County District Court and County Court at Law from 2021-2025.
The duties and role of the District Clerk for Gillespie County includes maintaining the integrity of all official documents of the District Court. The entire judicial system relies on the accuracy, trustworthiness, and proficiency of the District Clerk.
