Relevant Experience
Senior Exec, Chemist, Engineer, IT, PFAS, Plastics. PhD Organic Chemistry (MIT). 60-year resident
I grew up in Wellesley. I am an organic chemist/material scientist holding a PhD from MIT. My career included work at 6 scientific startups and 3 large corporations. I helped the DPW as a citizen with the artificial turf selection at WHS in 2016, and with PFAS filtration in 2021. I’m recently retired, so I have time to devote to Public Works and the MLP. I believe my skills and experience are uniquely suited for these roles. Priorities include offering guidance on the next PFAS filtration effort, and lending my financial startup experience to evaluating budgets, projects and senior staff with a keen eye towards fiscal responsibility, even frugality, as we face cost, funding and environmental uncertainties in the world today.
