Contest Ouachita County Judge
The role of a County Judge in Arkansas isn't just a title; it is the role of a Chief Executive Officer. It requires a leader who can manage a multi-million dollar budget, oversee vital road systems, and coordinate with state and federal agencies to bring resources back home.
I am a retired active-duty military officer with over 28 years of managing personnel, budgets, contracts and equipment. After retiring I started a farm in Ouachita County, joined the local volunteer fire department, water board, Republican committee, cattleman's association, Farm Bureau board and the election commission all in order to help improve my community. I am currently the Justic of the Peace for District 3.
One area that I am focusing on is the roadways. The county budget will not facilitate paving of the roads, but we can fix the drainage issues in our county. We can do this by preventing erosion of our road base by fixing our culverts and ditches.
