Contest Searcy Co. Coroner
Coroners respond to the deaths occurring in the county; identifying the decedent, determining COD, securing personal property, notifying next-of-kin, and removing the body.
I was a Paramedic on the Dallas Fire Department; as such we responded to all deaths in city limits, identified the decedent, determined COD (if possible w/out autopsy), secured personal property, and either transported or called the ME to get the body. I am currently the Deputy Coroner in Searcy County, performing the same functions.
There are several Public Service type messages I intend to distribute, to make it easier for the families to handle the details after death, as well as simple things elderly patients can do to make it easier for the Coroner to determine medical histories.
