Little River County Clerk

The County Clerk in Arkansas has several key duties that are essential for the functioning of local government. These responsibilities include record-keeping, election management, and administrative tasks.

Key Duties Record Keeping Maintain official records of the county, including ordinances, resolutions, and minutes of the Quorum Court. Keep custody of vital records such as marriage licenses, property deeds, and other legal documents. Manage the county's voter registration list, ensuring it is accurate and up-to-date. Election Management Serve as the custodian of absentee ballots and ballot boxes. Assist the county election commission in overseeing the election process.
