Advocate to the taxpayer. Send tax bills out in a timely manner. Strive to ensure each taxpayer receives all credits and benefits due to them! Collect taxes to be turned in with the upmost honesty and accuracy.
Graduate of South Central Career College, studies including accounting & book keeping. I have 35 years experience working with the public in both the Collectors and Assessors Office. I am a level 4 Appraiser in the Assessor’s Office. Some of my duties are to plat, divide and value property. Through an oath taken each year I have upheld my duties with respect and integrity to the office. I strive to help others understand the taxing process.
First the Office needs to stay open until 5pm in service to the taxpayers. I can assure the taxpayers I will accept the post mark of Oct 15th without a penalty. Help to explain the tax bills not just collect. Collectors and Assessors Office run on the same computer system, more open lines of communication between the two to assist the taxpayer can be obtained.
