Having been elected to serve on the White River Township Board 3 years ago and now serving as President of the Board, with two other board members and the trustee, I would like to continue to see that the taxpayers monies for White River Township and the services that are provided are continued to be used wisely and appropriately now and for the future growth of our township.
The White River Township government is responsible to see that the services of the township, such as; the fire department, emergency services, poor relief, the cementery funds and all maintenance fees are sensibly and appropriately managed for our township now and and in the future.
The pressing issue for White River Township is continue to offer, improve and/or expand these services that the township currently provides and were mentioned above. These needs must be provided to the current and future residents and taxpayers of our township at a reasonable rate.
I have lived in and continue to farm our property in White River Township for over 50 years. My family settled in this township, farmed this property sinced the 1850's. I feel that I have a deep connection with this community and wish to see that the residents and taxpayers of the township are represented by someone that is available and will listen to their concerns. I am an easy going man, will listen to both sides, ask questions, do my research, state my opinion and vote what I feel is right and best for White River Township taxpayers and its residents.
As I stated previously I was elected to the White River Township Board almost 4 years ago and currently was elected by the board to serve as president of this board. Previously, White River Township voters elected me to serve 3 terms to represent White River on the Hamilton Heights School Board. I have farmed my entire life. I coached and help coach various ages of both girls and boys sports in our community. My wife and I have been married for almost 51 years. Raised 3 children that are gratuates of Hamilton Heights. I would greatly appreciate your vote and support during this election so that I may continue to serve, maintain and improve the needs of White River Township.
