I have worked in Elections for the past almost 16 years, with the last 8 years being the Elections Administrator. With Elections being a large part of what the County Clerk oversees, I feel like I am qualified in this aspect of the office. I am actively learning the other roles of the County Clerk including court records, child support, and other services provided.
With Hamilton County being a growing county, as well as adding 2 new Courts in 2027, the Clerk's Office will have to adjust to this growth. Using organization and efficiency, I am ready to take on this challenge.
I would like to see our County being using Vote Centers for voting, which would allow any registered voters in Hamilton County to be able to go to any open voting location in the county on Election Day.
We do our best in Elections to follow what is legislated for us to do. Our Elections Office is organized, friendly, and efficient. As stated earlier, I would like to see us implement Vote Centers in Hamilton County.
We have confidentiality laws in relation to many of the roles of the Clerk's Office. We will continue as always in the Clerk's Office to follow those laws.
