Ballot Language:Shall Section 3.01 of the Town Charter be amended to require that the town manager need not be a resident of the town or Florida at the time of his or her appointment but shall within sixty (60) days after taking office reside within a radius of thirty (30) miles from the town, measured from the location of the Town Hall?Synopsis:Currently, Section 3.01 of the Town Charter states that “the town manager need not be a resident of the town or Florida at the time of his or her appointment.” However, it does not set any time frame as to when they must become a resident.
