Texas Senate District 24 (03-03-2026)
The Texas Senate has 31 seats and is the upper chamber of the Texas Legislature. Texas Senate District 24 serves 13 counties: Atascosa (part), Bandera, Bell, Burnet, Coryell, Gillespie, Kerr, Kimble, Lampasas, Llano, Medina, Sutton, and Williamson (part). The term of office is four years. Duties: passes bills on public policy that become the law for the State of Texas; sets levels for state spending by passing a two-year budget; votes to raise and lower taxes for the state; and votes to uphold or override gubernatorial vetoes of bills.
