Contest Justice of the Peace district 4
The duties of Justice of the Peace are to serve on the legislative body of Washington County. My duty is to see to it that the body considers the perspectives of my constituents. That we seek interventions that produce the sort of outcomes we hope for. To set a standard of conduct and be a steward for everyone in Washington County especially those who need help.
Being the incumbent. There’s a crash course of experience in that I’ve done the job. What qualifies me for this position is my sincere advocacy for the betterment of our community and a people first approach. My willingness to accept the challenge before me and ask more of government. To not allow what has been to encumber our hopes to the future.
Having been unable in the current regime to expand language justice. I will not abandon that it’s something that I would without reservation change going into a second term. However that will be a part of my current candidacy so any other the policy position I would move for in my second term would be criminal justice reform with a focus on policy interventions that would reduce the cost of policing overall in our communities.
