With 7 years of experience in Washington County government, including 4 years in the Treasurer’s Office, 2 years as Chief Deputy Treasurer. I’ve balanced hundreds of millions in taxpayer funds with 100% accuracy and 0% discrepansys. In 2025, I received the Washington County Shared Services award, recognizing our efforts working with other departments in the county.
As County Treasurer, my top priority is modernizing the office’s software system. The current platform, built in the late 1990s, remains reliable, fully functional, and incurs no licensing costs to the county—a testament to its solid foundation. However, with ongoing technological advancements, we have the opportunity to achieve greater efficiency, more accurate record-keeping, and enhanced user experience.
Drawing on my extensive experience in the Treasurer’s Office, I already understand the system’s specific limitations and the precise improvements needed. My plan is to upgrade strategically—enhancing and building upon the existing reliable core—rather than replacing it entirely with a costly new solution.
