As a Justice of the Peace in Arkansas, my main duty is to serve on the county Quorum Court, where I help make decisions about county government. I vote on county ordinances and resolutions, set the county budget, and approve how county funds are spent. I also help represent the people in my district by listening to their concerns and working on policies that affect local services like roads, public safety, and county operations. Overall, my role is to make sure county government is run responsibly, legally, and in the best interest of the residents.
As a preacher, I have years of experience serving others, listening to people’s concerns, and leading with integrity guided by faith. My ministry has taught me the importance of compassion, accountability, and making decisions that put people first, which prepares me well to serve my community in this role.
The first thing I plan to improve when I take office is communication between county government and the people it serves. I want residents to feel heard and informed. I will accomplish this by being accessible, listening to concerns from my district, and working with fellow justices to address issues honestly and responsibly. My goal is to serve with integrity, guided by faith, and to make decisions that reflect both good stewardship and the needs of our community.
