Contest Mammoth spring school board candidate
One thing our district does very well is creating opportunities for students to shine in many different ways through academics, music, art, sports, and clubs that bring our community together and give kids reasons to be proud of their school. If I am elected I plan to continue to support and grow that strength by being actively involved listening to students and staff, and working at the board table to protect and expand these programs so they have the resources, recognition, and support they need and deserve. That means asking good questions about funding, celebrating all student achievements publicly, and making sure our decisions keep kids’ opportunities at the center.”
In my opinion I believe one of the more important thing our district needs to improve is financial accountability and compliance, so every dollar supports our kids’ education and activities without question or unneeded delay. As a board member, I’ll push for clear policies, timely state approvals on hires and spending, regular audits reviewed openly with the community, and training for staff to meet all regulations head-on. I’ll also seek grants to ease budget pressures and keep parents informed through easier ways to attend and view town halls and reports because trust in our finances builds trust in our schools.”
