I am a Christian Conservative who loves God and our Country and do not like what I have seen for many years now. I want our great nation to return to honoring the God that we were founded on in our laws and our culture. 38T in debt tells us that our government is way too big and way too involved in our lives.
My strongest competency is business acumen. I've been in multi-unit Retail Leadership for many years. I understand building and working with others to operate within a budget. I also understand traditional family values and their importance to our social structure. I'm married to my wife Judy, and we just celebrated our 36th Anniversary and we have 4 successful children.
Our economy and our Godless culture. I believe we need to create an Economic Trade and Energy Zone here in South Texas. From the Port of Corpus to the Port of Brownsville, we have the Energy, the Ports, and the workers. I will work to end the "permit purgatory" and offer tax incentives for companies to move manufacturing to South Texas. I will also fight to defend life and to make adoption more accessible and affordable.
America First! I will stand with our President in delivering Trade and Foreign policy that line up with the America First agenda. I would advocate for exiting the United Nations immediately and would fight to ensure that our relationships with other nations would be based on strategic alliances and transactional.

What motivated me to run for congress was my commitment to the people and communities of South Texas. I spent 12 years working for two Members of Congress, and I saw firsthand how much policy in Washington affects families, workers, students, and small businesses here at home. Unlike other candidates who are just getting to know the district, I've lived in these communities for many decades. I know our neighborhoods, our challenges, and our strengths. I'm running because South Texas deserves a representative who understands our region at a grassroot level. This is not about ambition for me, it is about service, responsibility, and making sure our families, veterans and workers have an experience advocate representing them in Washington.
My strongest qualification for this office is my nearly twelve years of experience working in Congress for two different Members, where I helped constituents navigate federal agencies, and built relationships across local, state, and federal partners. I understand how Congress works - not in theory, but through years of hands-on service to the people of South Texas. I lived in Brownsville for many years, I lived four years in Harlingen during my high school years, and I have been in Corpus Christi for 13 years; working closely with constituents. The combination of congressional experience, deep local roots, and commitment to service, uniquely prepares me to advocate effectively for South Texas on day one.
The number one concern I hear from residents across South Texas is affordability. People are worried about the rising cost of living. Families tell me they are doing everything right - working hard, budgeting carefully - yet it is getting harder to keep up. Groceries, housing, healthcare, utilities, insurance, and even basic necessities cost more, and paycheck don't seem to stretch as far as they used to. My response is that Washington needs to refocus on the everyday economics of family life. I will prioritize policies that lower costs - supporting domestic energy and supply chain to reduce prices, encouraging competition to bring down prescription drug and insurance cost, and tax relief for working families and small businesses.
Other than affordability, my top three priorities are border security, improving local infrastructure, and energy independence. First border security. Our communities want a secure and orderly border. I support stronger enforcement, better technology and staffing, and reforms that stop the illegal crossing while ensuring local communities and law enforcement are not overwhelmed. Second, infrastructure. From flooding to drainage to roads and ports. South Texas needs federal investment that actually reaches our neighborhoods. Third, energy independence. I will champion American energy production to lower costs, strengthen our national security, and expand good-paying jobs in South Texas.
