I chose to run for County Chair because I believe that strong communities are built locally, neighbor to neighbor. My goal is to help make Nueces County a great place for my kids, and everyone’s families to live, work, and thrive.
My principles and beliefs most closely align with the Republican Party, and I wanted to be part of shaping the direction of the party and strengthening the party at the local level. That means recruiting and supporting honest, service driven, freedom loving candidates who care about our community and reflect our values. I believe when more people get involved locally, voting, volunteering, and participating, our community becomes stronger, safer, and more responsive to the people it serves.
I have been actively involved in local politics / campaigns since 2007, serving in nearly every role from volunteer to County Chair. Over the years, I’ve knocked doors, made calls, organized events, posted signs, and helped candidates. I have served as a precinct chair and have been a delegate to every Precinct, Senatorial District, and State Republican Convention since 2012. I also served on the State Republican Executive Committee representing Senate Districts 20 and 27. These experiences have given me a deep understanding of grassroots organizing, outreach, and coalition-building. More importantly, they have shown me the importance of treating everyone with respect and working hard to earn trust, not just during elections, but every day.
The concern I hear most often is about outside influence, including money, messaging, and agendas, shaping our local elections and priorities. People want to know that decisions are being made by neighbors who actually live here and understand Nueces County.
My response is simple: keep our politics local.
Focus on:
- Recruiting, training, and electing strong conservative candidates rooted in our community
- Engaging Independents, Libertarians, new residents, and newly registered voters
- Building the strongest grassroots network in Nueces County history
When citizens are engaged, informed, and involved, our county stays accountable to the people who live here and to outside forces.
1. Support and defend principled Incumbents who serve our community well. We will provide training, tools, and volunteer support to help them stay connected and responsive to their voters.
2. Expand our majority by recruiting qualified candidates who truly care about Nueces County. This means encouraging everyday citizens, parents, small-business owners, veterans, and community leaders, to get involved and serve.
3. Strengthen fundraising and grassroots outreach focused specifically on local needs. Every dollar we raise helps support voter education, outreach, and engagement programs that keep citizens informed and involved.
