Working in Nueces County for a decade demonstrated to me that I had developed the skills required to serve our community. I see too much potential, and we must seize every opportunity for socioeconomic growth.
My best competency is that I am capable of working with anyone and do not make decisions based on feelings; instead, I work with facts and statistics and strive to help the majority. I've learned that mistakes can be fixed and that there's always space for improvement. I've learned that doing the right thing isn't always easy, but it's worth it.
Trust and transparency. I am committed to working with transparency, sharing all of the information around any decision made, and listening to our citizens.
Budget Accountability. will make sure that accountability and transparency remain in place throughout the budgeting process.
Emergency Management. I will make sure that Nueces County has emergency management strategies in place and all necessary resources to assist the community.
Economic Growth. I will propose policies that promote business development, help small businesses, and bring the proper new industries to our area.
