Occupation Attorney
I have a diverse background grounded in education and real world experience. After earning a Chemical Engineering degree from Texas A&M, I worked in the petrochemical industry before attending law school. Over the past several years, I’ve practiced law across a wide range of areas. I’ve also matriculated into the MBA program at Rice University. My commitment to education, public service, and civic leadership reflects how deeply I care about our community’s future. I will bring strong judgment, broad perspective, and accountability to this role.
First, I will push for greater transparency in how education funds are allocated by advocating for accessible financial reporting and community input. Second, I will work to expand career and technical education pathways by building partnerships with local employers and community colleges, ensuring students are equipped for real world jobs. Both priorities aim to make the department more accountable and more responsive to the evolving needs of students, families, and taxpayers.
