The Marion School District does a phenomenal job at supporting a wide range of extracurricular activities that help provide crucial life skills for students like leadership, teamwork, and time management while also providing creative and physical outlets. Students who attend Marion will have their fair share of activities to choose from and know that the school district will support them. The facilities at Marion are top of the line and insanely impressive!
The Marion School District needs to focus on utilizing its resources to focus on academic growth and achievement. The district needs to be providing resources to its lowest learners, but also its highest learners so that everyone can reach their full potential. That may mean a change in curriculum, more aid resources for teachers, and specialized learning environments. Also, Marion desperately needs more accessible pre-K programs as a means to both kickstart learning for students and provide necessary childcare for parents. I know deep in my heart that Marion has the potential to be a phenomenal place to send your student!
Marion School District has state of the art facilities to accommodate the needs of the students in our district.
Our district has strong academics; however, there is an urgent need to increase academic achievement inside and outside of the classroom…and then celebrate BIG! Motivate students to learn!
