As a trial Court Judge, we will listen to participants with humility and respect for them. We will decide the facts of each case based on witness testimony and other forms of evidence. We will be accessible to the public. We will decide cases in a thorough manner. We will treat all people with kindness no matter their station in life. We will treat all people with kindness whether they have the means to hire an attorney or are self-represented in Court.
I have been an attorney for 18 years. I started in commercial real estate law working for a large firm. In 2009, I began working with the Spanish speaking community and other underserved communities in a wide range of law including civil, criminal, family, and juvenile law. I have been all over the state representing people and families. I have seen the power of a fair judge in a courtroom. I plan to bring humility, accessibility, respect, and kindness to our Court.
I will work to ensure that our case participants are being served in a prompt respectful manner. I will work to ensure our court staff is supported. I will work with the other Judges to ensure that the public is being served and to see how the Circuit Court needs my help. I will strive to bring humility, accessibility, respect, and kindness to the Court.
