Hear and adjudicate cases in Family Law, Civil Law, Probate Law, Orders of Protection and Mental Commitments.
I have practiced law in the State of Arkansas since September 2002. I have practiced in the areas of Family Law, Civil Law, Probate Law and Orders of Protection and have been involved in Mental Commitments through my office. I have practiced administrative and defensive Immigration Law. I have also practiced in Criminal Law in Arkansas, Missouri and the United States District Court for the Western District of Arkansas.
My goal as Circuit Judge would be follow the law and apply it to the facts in a fair, impartial and consistent manner, and to adjudicate cases in a timely manner. Any changes would be to create a system that allows all people coming before the Court to have an efficient system to hear their cases timely.
In Arkansas, a Circuit Court Judge serves as a court of general jurisdiction and has broad responsibilities across multiple areas of law. Circuit Judges play an important role in public safety, family stability & access to justice. Key duties include presiding over cases in a fair and impartial manner and managing the courtroom and docket. The Judge ensures that cases move along in an efficient manner while protecting constitutional rights and due process.

The Benton County Division 4 docket is made up of cases involving domestic relations (family law, divorce, custody, child support), probate (guardianships, adoptions, wills/estates) and civil matters.

I became an Arkansas licensed attorney in 2007. I meet all legal qualifications to be elected Circuit Judge.

Over the last 18 years, I have practiced law in a variety of areas, including family law, probate & civil litigation. I have represented litigants in Worker's Compensation and Social Security Disability cases, and once had the unique experience of traveling to Washington D.C. to argue before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board. In 2009, I became a certified Attorney Ad Litem in domestic relations and probate law; and in 2023, I became a certified Attorney Ad Litem in juvenile law.

I work hard & listen well. My extensive experience in family law & trauma-informed point of view make me the most qualified candidate.

Benton County Circuit Court Division 4 has a docket that is dominated by domestic relations and family law related probate cases (e.g. adoptions, new and ongoing guardianships of minor children). Some of these cases (and some civil litigation cases) involve intense conflict and individuals who frequently appear in court over the same or similar issues. I would work to bring a trauma-informed approach to managing these types of cases in order to improve outcomes for children, increase safety for all, improve court order compliance, increase accuracy of decision-making, and ultimately improve the long-term health of our community by reducing future court-involvement, reliance on social services, and holding offenders accountable.
